About Munch in Vågå
The Munch initiative in Vågå began in 2013, initially as a project to mark the 150th anniversary of Munch’s birth. This original drive to establish the heritage garden in Ullinsvin has since developed into a collaboration between travel & tourism sector businesses and organisations that have realised the potential, and wish to raise awareness, of Edvard Munch’s connection with the village.
These are Vågå church, Vågå Hotell, Galleri Ullinsvin, Gammel-Kleppe Kulturarvhotell/Munchely, Gudbrandsdalsmusea, Lemonsjø Fjellstue & Hyttegrend, Bessheim Fjellstue, Nasjonalparkriket Reiseliv AS and Vågå Municipality.
