Skjåk is a wonderful area for outdoor activities all year - if you want to try fishing for mountain trout, you can choose from 230 fishing lakes, walk along one of the 260 km marked hiking trails in Skjåk, or try reach the summit of one of the 20 peaks over 2,000 meters.
The cabins are in themselves great hiking goals, but also splendid starting points for hiking and fishing. You can make your own hiking route from cabin to cabin in Breheimen or Reinheimen national parks. Skjåk Almenning also has four cabins located by roads, which are suitable for those who want an easier starting point.
